Want To Record Your Vetta...Digitally?

Digital Recording - now you can thanks to the Vetta Digital Interface (VDI for short). Why? Because every Vetta ever built includes an expansion slot that can accommodate the Vetta Digital Interface (see photos above).  By installing the VDI, your Vetta will have extensive digital audio input and output capabilities. This digital audio interface can operate at 16, 20, or 24-bit resolution, and at sample rates up to 96KHz.

Digital Connections - connections are provided for both AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital audio inputs and outputs and the digital audio connections can be used for direct digital recording, as a digital effects loop, or for digital “re-amping” with a computer recorder or DAW. This technique allows you to change any of your amplifier or effects settings after you have recorded them.

Digital Re-Amping - with the VDI, you can route your dry, direct guitar signal out the digital outputs while simultaneously sending it through all of its amp and effects models. The direct outputs can be recorded to your computer/DAW/tape recorder at the same time as the direct digital dry signal. When your finished recording, send the dry track back to Vetta II’s digital inputs. Now, if you’re not satisfied with the tone that you recorded, you can change it in Vetta II and send the signal back out its digital outputs to your recorder, without ever leaving the digital domain. The VDI's digital inputs can be used to send any digital audio signal through its vast collection of amplifiers, cabinets, and effects.

Variax Connections - The Vetta Digital Interface also adds a Variax input. This input is able to provide direct power for Variax, bi-directional communication between Vetta and Variax, plus a digital audio connection from Variax to Vetta. With this connection, it’s possible to not only have your amps, cabs, effects, and routing change with the touch of a button, but now your guitar can as well.
